About the event
Our first ever "Festival of Light" Concert combines the beauty of soft light and the enchanting sounds of "First String" featuring Cynthia Lynn from Colorado Springs. First String is composed of a 9 piece, double string quartet with a stand up bass. We are asking guests to wear ALL WHITE for this event to enhance the visual ambience of this special night.
"Cynthia Robindson has played first violin with the Colorado Springs Philharmonic since 1980. During that time she also enjoyed performing with celebrities in Colorado Springs and Denver, at Fiddler's Green, the Pepsi Center, the World Arena, and at the Red Rocks outdoor amphitheatre, including Smokey Robinson, Earth Wind & Fire, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Manhattan Transfer, John Denver, Dave Brubeck, George Benson, Nell Carter, Mannheim Steamroller, Judy Collins, Luciano Pavarotti, Chet Atkins, Michael Martin Murphy, Yo Yo Ma, Henry Mancini, Aaron Copland, Doc Severinsen, and Peter Nero."
